Starting CMDebug by naming a session, rather than a BAT file

When starting CMDebug in CLI mode a session could be named (rather than a BAT file) and the session opened.
Sessions are easily recognizable by the .session suffix.
I tried opening a CMDebug session file from the CLI but then CMDebug does some strange transformation of the session file and display that in the editor rather than opening the session
